Other Shopsavvy sites.I trialled X6 and then tried to buy it. I registered it in my account "Thank you for registering your software" and that looked Ok and the serial number matched. Then they debited my Via card and emailed me an activation code.
No matter how I entered pasted or keyed the serial number I got "The serial number is invalid" before I ever got to enter the activation code.

Since my user id is registered with Corel I cannot change my email address and phone calls leave me hanging on indefinitely. However I would like to use X6 along with my new Sony A77 because its interface is so much more useable than Elements. I usually use Photoshop but also have PaintShop Pro X6 on my computer it just upgraded to service pack 2 automatically and like some of its features better than Photoshop. I had an older version on my computer but decided to buy the newest version X6 Ultimate which includes Face Filter Studio 3 a few months ago. I didn't download it from the Internet and bought the hard copy instead. If you're upgrading downloading straight from the Internet there could have been some kind of glitch that caused the problem. It doesn't happen often but I've had problems, in the past, from direct downloads that were similar to what you described. If you got a refund then you're basically in good shape now, so you might try again and see what happens or just go to someplace like Best Buy and get the program.īiggest problem with that is you'll probably pay a little more for the program than you would downloading it directly from Corel.
I may not be a great help but I seem to recall confusing registration and serial codes. Try swapping them around or reentering them in the 'wrong' space. It worked for me but my brain can't remember the exact routine. I did contact Corel over their confusing use of serial and registration terminology.
